Deep Creek Retreat

Experience the joy of staying in an off grid solar powered house. This modern light filled 2 bedroom house with open plan living area offers spectacular ever changing views down the valley and across the sea to Kangaroo Island. The house stands alone on 2.5 acres. Secluded and private country property with 'walled' secret garden, olive grove, orchard, native and exotic trees. Generous living area with polished wooden floors throughout, a cook's kitchen and floor to ceiling glass doors. The main bedroom opens onto the deck and the garden beyond or the stars above. Enjoy the hot water outdoor shower under the sun or stars. (yes, we do also have an indoor shower) Watch the wildlife - native birds, kangaroos and the occasional echidna through the floor to ceiling picture window. There is also a resident family of hares. A short drive to Morgans Beach at Cape Jervis, Second Valley and Rapid Bay beaches. Discover the varied walks within Deep Creek Conservation Park with its stunning coastal scenery, or explore beyond to Tunkalilla, Waitpinga and Parsons Beaches along Range Rd to Victor Harbor. Visit the beautiful Raywood Nursery growing and selling exotic and native plants 5mins away on Tappanappa Rd, with a 1000yr old Grass tree in the carpark growing near the carpark. Closed Tuesday & Wednesdays. We have a dam on the property, which may or may not have water, so parents with young children will need to supervise them at all times.

CARRICKALINGA: A spacious, dog friendly retreat

Come and relax at 'Taronga' - a five minute walk to Carrickalinga’s pristine beach - one of SA’s most beautiful stretches of coast. Our home is large and well-appointed - it offers space, privacy and all creature comforts. There's a slow combustion fire for the cooler months (we provide wood ), a fully equipped kitchen, multiple lounge areas, outdoor eating/deck with Webber BBQ, a dedicated TV room, 2 bathrooms, and a laundry. You'll also find free WIFI, board games, books and table tennis!

EVELYN'S VILLAGE A charming rustic peaceful escape to the country. She's a caravan, lovingly and carefully restored, one part of your private village housing all the luxuries you'll need for your perfect getaway. Evelyn is built from the ground up with 90% recycled, reused, scrounged and found materials, set in a secluded part of our property, next to majestic gum trees nestled amongst nature. A bird watchers paradise with 80 species spotted around the gardens, so bring your binoculars.

Tangerine Dream -70's beach shack & nature retreat

A lovingly restored 70’s beach shack perched on the edge of the iconic Deep Creek national park. The property is set up to maximise the beauty of the surrounding environment: laze in the hammock, cook a meal over the roaring coals in the fire pit, have the best sleep of your life in the cozy beds lined with French linen or bathe under the amazing night sky. The possibilities for your stay are endless but one thing is certain - you won't want to wake up from your own Tangerine Dream.

Yankalilla Farm Stay "Moana Views" Pet friendly

This private and comfortable studio space is perfectly set up for those who want to experience the country and seaside at the same time. Situated on 5 acres which is also set up for horses, Moana Views offers the chance for guests to stay whilst exploring the wonders this area has to offer. Also, there is a short drive of approximately 4 kms to Normanville and Carrickallinga Beach, or maybe you prefer to ride or float your own horse down to the beach instead, the choice is yours!

Deep Creek Tiny House with Stunning Views

Welcome to a hidden gem discreetly and privately located on the edge of the wilderness of Deep Creek National Park. Enjoy the serenity and stunning views across the water to Kangaroo Island from your own scenic deck, whilst living large in a beautifully designed and built tiny house. Deep Creek Tiny House is located on the traditional land of the Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri people, adjacent to the stunning Deep Creek National Park, on the southern-most tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

All it takes is 2 minutes walk to the best beach in South Australia. Eateries, shops, brewery are close by. room to store a boat. Fish cleaning facility available. Options for Breakfast Provisions and Linen Package can be arranged On Request for a fee. Pet friendly - Dogs are allowed inside.

A cosy Tiny Home next to a forest. Relax in your own private outdoor area, walk in our mini forest, be mesmerised by our abundant wildlife, and maybe catch a glimpse of the stunning wedge tail eagle during your stay. Imagine gazing at the stars through our spectacular skylight, all while you are lying in bed. Our beautiful tiny house is available all year around, and includes breakfast provisions.

The Valley Shack - Walk to Second Valley Beach

The Valley Shack is a modern revival of the iconic Australian beach shacks of the 60s and 70s. Just a short 5 minute stroll to the rugged beauty of Second Valley beach.
