Alnwick castle(filming location for Harry Potter)is a 45 min drive in land.

Tucked away in the heart of Preston village, Stanley cottage is detached and set out on one level. Preston village lies 1.1 mile inland from the beautiful Tynemouth longsands, between Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. Only a mile to a metro station giving access to the cities of Newcastle, Gateshead etc. The south facing high walled garden has a wood fired hot tub for all 5 guests to unwind and relax. (Fuel not supplied) The compact layout has been sympathetically modernised to suite today's lifestyle.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Surrounded by cafes and a few restaurants. We have a working stables behind us with some beautiful horses. The Cottage is furnished throughout to a high standard having been fully renovated by the current owners in 2023 and has a lovely deck area at the rear.

The cottage is on a working farm within easy reach of Morpeth, a busy market town 5 miles south. The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.
