Slide open the wall-to-wall windows to enjoy the fresh sea breeze & side ocean view in the morning. This ideally located apartment with snappy wifi speed has been stylishly appointed with an open-plan design enhancing the light & bright feel perfect for remote work or a holiday getaway. The quiet bedroom has a large king bed while the sofa pulls-out into a comfy queen bed in the living room. Longer bookings usually include at least one cleaning per week to freshen-up the apartment for you. Relax, explore, rinse, repeat! Recently renovated and stylishly appointed with open plan kitchen/lounge that feels bright and spacious (62m^2). The apartment is positioned on the side of a beachfront building, providing seaside tranquility, away from the road noise. Open the wall-to-wall windows to smell the fresh sea air! The bedroom is cozy and quiet, featuring a king size bed and Egyptian cotton sheets…a touch of luxury to ensure a good night’s rest after a day of exploring Cape Town. The sofa in the lounge also converts into a comfy queen bed with dimensions 203cm x 152cm (6.5 ft x 5 ft). The kitchen is large and fully-equipped, with an adjoining breakfast bar counter that can be used for food prep, a quick snack or as a workspace. There is one full bathroom, with a shower/tub combo, and a second guest bathroom, with a toilet and sink. The building complex does not have a pool, but the Sea Point Public Pool is across the road (entrance R22 for adults R11 for children). Not your average municipal pool, the Sea Point Pool complex sits right above the seawall and includes multiple saltwater pools, diving boards and an expansive lawn for soaking up the sun. Guests have access to the entire apartment and one permanently allocated secure parking bay. We respect our guest’s privacy, but are happy to answer any questions or provide suggestions on things to see/do. We live close by, should an issue or emergency arise. Sea Point is a vibrant upmarket oceanfront community that has experienced a revival in recent years, with trendy shops, coworking options, and restaurants adding to the hip-but-relaxed urban oceanfront vibe. There is a wide range of amenities within walking distance including coffee shops with fast wifi and shared office spaces. The unit includes secure gated parking for one car, and Ubers are widely available. You can also explore Cape Town via the MyCiti bus, which has an extensive route network. There are several bus stops adjacent to the apartment, and the central Queen’s Beach station is just a couple blocks away. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Sea Point Promenade – which is just across the road – is a great for a morning walk or run, and bicycle rentals are also available. In terms of security, there is a groundskeeper onsite 24/7. There is also a Police station across the road, next to the ticket kiosk at the Sea Point Pool, however, Sea Point tends to be a relatively safe neighborhood. Both bedrooms lead to balconies, the views are spectacular. We are connected to a 24 hour security service that will escort you into the apartment if you are coming home late or alone. The whole apartment is available. Open plan lounge dining kitchen and two en-suite bathrooms, entry area and deck. I am an artist, so my studio (opposite to apartment entry) will be locked as I will use it as a storeroom. Located just a few kilometers west of Cape Town CBD, Fresnaye is one of the city's most affluent neighborhoods. The loft is just a short stroll from high-end Sea Point eateries. Head to Saunders’ Rock Tidal Pool on hot days for a refreshing dip. Unfortunately we only have street parking, but we are 100m from the MyCiti bus stop and we have found that most guests find using Uber, most convenient. If you prefer a personalized tour guide or shuttle service, we can organize that as well. Please note there will be extra outdoor furniture added to deck before your stay. It is within 5 minutes walking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches, Doctors and pharmacies. 8 minute drive to the renowned V & A Waterfront and Table Mountain and in the opposite direction , Clifton and Camps Bay Beaches. There is free parking in the street outside our front gate. The apartment is serviced daily except Sundays and Public Holidays if vacated by 12 noon.
