Welcome to Bluebird Homestead! We are nestled on over 10 acres of old growth forest land with several spots to set up a primitive campsite/utilize wifi and resources for your comfort. You can tour our homestead to see the animals and garden or enjoy a meditation walk in the meadow. We also allow sustainable foraging in our forests for mushrooms and plants. Meals, homemade kombucha and hand crafted teas are available upon request. Kids are welcome to play on zip line and outdoor obstacle course.

It is in the country so may see snakes, bugs, deer or more. Inside boasts modern, comfortable living, laundry room, 2 baths. Wheelchair ramp is 4’ wide.

This is [primitive] tent camping, please bring tents and anything else you need. lots of wildlife on 40 acres. property backs up to Ouachita national forest. access to the forest at the back of the property. serene setting with woods, some open spaces. 1 spring fed at the very back of property. just outside of town is jack creek swimming area. and 38 miles to Mena arkansas where there is the famous talimena scenic pass. Lake hinkle close by and public shooting range. no electric or water.

Our cozy home is only 6 miles from the town of Mena known for many attractions including the Old Home Train Depot Museum (you can occasionally hear the train go by the house) & fantastic antique shops. You will find so many unique restaurants art galleries and shopping close by.
