The FLOPHouse at Scamander

The FLOPHouse is comfy, cosy and conveniently located for your east coast Tassie road trip. Positioned on the main thoroughfare of town opposite Wrinklers beach the entrance is a 250m stroll away. We offer an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining, off street parking, spacious rear garden courtyard and 2BRs sleeping up to five guests (QB/DB/SB). The Bay of Fires, Freycinet, wineries, mountain biking and a whole lot of fresh air are all within easy reach. Did we mention no traffic lights either?

Our family have been enjoying holidays at the shack for over thirty years. Enjoy spacious living areas, stylish decor, water views and our private, bird-filled native gardens. Relax in the new outdoor bath or explore the bush track winding down to a secluded bayside beach. Not another shack in sight. Beer Barrel Beach, the Maurouard surf & Peron Dunes await at St Helens Point 8 minutes drive away as are the Mountain Bike tracks. Time to recharge and relax on the Bay of Fires coast.

Relax in this special romantic retreat in our modern coastal oasis at beautiful Binalong Bay in the Bay of Fires. Perfectly designed for couples, our newly built haven offers breathtaking ocean views, a private sauna, outdoor shower and an outdoor bathtub (cold plunge or hot) with views to live for ! ideal for relaxing under the stars. Access is via the rock stairs at the front of the property. Unwind by the fire pit with the waves as your soundtrack at Tasmania’s stunning East Coast.

Serenity @ Scamander

Serenity @ Scamander is a 1 bedroom privately owned unit in a bush setting. It's location and outlook is a feature which includes both the Scamander River and the stunning coastline. The unit is part of our property which privately sits below our residence with private entrance and plenty of car parking. The unit comprises of 1 bedroom with bathroom/laundry and a separate toilet. A well equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge space/TV area with single sofa bed. WIFI ☑️

Shelly Point Beach House

Luxury beach house, tucked away in a quiet cul de sac only a 2 minute walk to a stunning east coast beach and 10 mins to the St helens Mountain Bike park. You will enjoy a stroll to the beach for fishing, surfing, snorkeling or a relaxing walk! 10mins up the road and you will be riding world class mountain bike trails. 25 min to Bay of Fires. The beach house faces north to get all day sun and is very sheltered, there are two decks to sit and enjoy the sunshine and a refreshing drink.

Unit 20 is a 2 bedroom privately owned unit, part of the fabulous Whitesands Estate and brewery, located 25min from Bicheno and St Helens, 1 hr from Freycinet National Park, Coles bay and wineglass bay. Unit has sea views from deck. Bar, beer and wine tasting and sales at the Iron House brewery located in the main Whitesands Estate building. Kalinda is a beachfront log cabin style home, with cathedral ceilings and a loft bedroom, with the amazing Four Mile Creek Beach on your doorstep. It is the perfect location to explore what Tasmania's East Coast has to offer, from The Bay of Fires, down to Bicheno and everything in between. The space is set up with couples in mind to relax and enjoy the beachfront atmosphere in a cozy accommodation, with beautiful gardens and bird life a plenty.

Winifred’s Wrest - Sanctuary and Ocean Living

Located in the Scamander Sanctuary this brand new 3 bedroom home offers open plan living, spacious kitchen and a luxurious bathroom. The front of the house boasts stunning ocean and sanctuary views making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The home is well equipped for a maximum of 5 adults with all you will need for a relaxing break away including a new heat pump which easily heats or cools the entire house.
