The Spruce Nest

Stay in a historic home in Old Town Steamboat Springs built 1907. We have added an entry, dining room, master bedroom and bath and powder bath. However, we have kept the original two-story home in tact, similar to the early 1900's. We even used original wood from the walls to accent the exterior. Very nice, secluded spot near the Encampment River. Completely remodeled living area called the Cottonwood Acres Bunkhouse. Sit outside on the porch and watch the deer walk by with the river as a backdrop. Play horseshoes out back. 18 miles south of Saratoga, with fishing, hunting, hiking, and riding opportunities within a 30 minute drive of the property in multiple directions. Also, great snowmobiling opportunities in the winter. Enjoy food and drinks a mile away in Riverside and Encampment.

It is also close to the Yampa River, Emerald Mountain, and Downtown Steamboat Springs. Yampa River Core Trail is 1/4 mile away. Steamboat Springs is “Ski Town USA”and is also proud to offer world-class fly fishing, extensive mountain bike trails and gravel bike roads, amazing Rocky Mountain hiking areas, and kayaking and tubing in the middle of town.

Salt Shed Flats Granary - Yampa

Salt Shed Flats is located in the heart of the historic Hayden Granary. The Yampa (Unit 1) features a queen bed, and pull out couch. These are cozy, comfortable, and well stocked units for any length of stay in Hayden, Colorado! Located 30 minutes West of Steamboat & 5 minutes from Yampa Valley Regional Airport. The Flat is located near a brewery & food truck, yet typically all is quiet after 9pm. There is an additional pet fee, cleaning fee for 10+ days and monthly stays.

Riverside Cabin Retreat on Elk River in Clark,Co

The Riverside cabin is located at the Elk River Guest Ranch in Clark, about 30 minutes from Steamboat Springs. From the cabin, there are spectacular views of the Zirkel Mountains and Routt National Forest. The Elk River runs directly across from your cabin where there is private access across the road. Cozy up by the wood fireplace, or snowmobile, XC ski/snowshoe/hike/bike right out the door. The cabin has good WI-FI and a small TV that you can stream from or watch DVDs.
