Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

The house is located in the Mondego River Valley on walking distance of a beautifull isolated riverbeach. A great place to get away from the stressed world. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice). A Casita do Horácio é um alojamento localizado num local tranquilo, situado a 4 km do centro de Viseu, na localidade contigua de Barbeira,. Dispõe de local de estacionamento ao lado da casita, e. transportes públicos. A Casita dispõe de dois andares, com dois quartos no 1º andar, e no rés do chão cozinha completa com sala e WC. A casinha dispõe de aquecimento com Ar Condicionado em todas as divisões.

It is a renovated stone house located above the village fountain, popular in the surrounding area for its pure water. Novelães is a very quiet village just 5 km from the foot of Serra da Estrela between Gouveia and Seia. The house has a large space with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy silence and peace, walk through the woods and visit the surrounding natural attractions.

We offer breakfast and dinner as additional services, both subject to availability.

Relax Container

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).
