Villa Eggedal is situated on the North shore of Lake Atitlan in the peaceful village of Santa Cruz. Ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens with pool overlook the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The gardens make this a bird-watcher's paradise. There are 7 properties on this amble estate. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.

Our cozy guest cottage is located right on the lake shore so you'll enjoy de magnificent view of Lake Atitlan and its three stunning volcanoes. You just need to walk through our beautiful garden and dip straight into the refreshing waters of the majestic lake. Or if you're interested in exploring other towns around the lake, you can easily take a boat because we have a public dock right in front of our property! We are located in a very peaceful and safe area of Santa Cruz.

The uniquely designed space has a bright and airy floor plan, with 2 built-in king-sized beds (plus a single), a fireplace, a lounge area which doubles as additional sleeping space (best for kids), a fully-equipped kitchen, a full bath featuring a two-person soaking tub, a dining area, and a 10 meter-long patio with a day bed, hammock and sitting area.
