The Shepherd Hut at The Old Police House

A traditional bespoke Shepherd Hut in a semi rural location. The hut is positioned a few steps from the Llangollen canal and a three min walk from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.Offas Dyke runs along the towpath .There are two excellent pubs a few minutes walk, post office ,pizza takeaway and cafe. The Hut is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is direct access to the tow path on which you can walk for miles. I currently have a minimum 2 nights stay but may allow 1 night stay please ask

Set in a cottage garden on a hillside above the town of Llangollen our lovely blue cabin has panoramic views across town towards Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass. Beautiful Llangollen is great for a break any time of year. Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. Take a glass of sparkly and have a bath under the stars.

By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

There is an abundance of walks right from your doorstep, you're even lucky enough to have the Offas Dyke within a stones throw from the Cabin.

Nestled serenely on the edge of woodland is this 19th century blacksmiths building. It has been sympathetically renovated and brought back to life with style at the forefront, whilst keeping every unique feature in tact. We have taken advantage of the high ceiling with an incredible mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed and installed a log burner for added comfort during the colder months. Plenty of lovely country walks straight from the door perfect for a getaway or home from home when working away.

The Nest is situated on the boundary of a working farm.
