Locust Street Cottage

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Built in 1830 and lovingly renovated for now, it’s a slice of Vicksburg’s past. The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Has a desk, if needed and internet provided.

Ava’s Place on the Lake

Relax and enjoy this unique, peaceful , family friendly, vintage lakehouse on the beautiful Lake Bruin. Swim, fish, hang out, or take a quiet paddle to the cypress grove. Launch your boat at the Lake Bruin State Park, enjoy tubing/skiing. Mooring whips attached to the pier keep your boat safe while you’re Have coffee on the pier, watch a spectacular sunrise, lay in the hammock, and enjoy an evening under the stars. (No pets and No parties allowed. Penalty fees applied for violations.)

Castaway Cottage on Lake St. Joseph

This charming three-bedroom home boasts breathtaking views, a spacious deck, and a private pier for your morning coffee and evening sunsets. Bedroom 1 features a king bed, while Bedrooms 2 and 3 have queen beds. If you need extra space, air mattresses are available for two more guests. This cozy getaway comfortably accommodates up to six people. Just 13 miles away, you’ll find Lake Bruins State Park, and Tensas Wildlife Refuge is just 10 miles away. Experience the tranquility.

This Southern-style home is a short walk to downtown on the trail along the Bluff. Sitting on the covered front porch, you can enjoy the park-like setting. Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.

Most of you're time will be spent outdoors enjoying & relaxing! We have a pier with a covered boat slip. There's no roughing it here. You will enjoy inside and out on your next vacation!

James’ Cabin

Peaceful and charming little cabin. Only minutes from Winnsboro. Huge yard that’s great for the kids. This open floor plan cabin is great for couples or little families. It sleeps four comfortably with one queen size bed and hide a bed sofa. James’ cabin has everything that you need including kitchenette, WIFI a Roku TV. This place also has covered parking.
