This is a light and airy space - The Living room and bedroom sliding doors open onto the garden overlooking the ocean. A garden gate leads you to the beach and our well known local surfspot Point. The space is perfect for adventurous, outdoorsy people who love the beach and enjoys surfing and the ocean. It is very peaceful with the constant sound of the waves around u.

The Cape St Francis beach is one of the best beaches in the world with a 3km walk to far point on sand. The point and beach break is also excellent for surfing and made famous by the movie The Endless Summer. This quiet town is known for its small, casual and friendly community with restaurants nearby. Enjoy walks on the beach to the lighthouse the wild side and our nature reserves. Great fishing and snorkeling in the many gullies on the wild side only a 10 min walk away. Watch the sunrise and sunset over the sea. Two golf courses, the Kromme river and canal system, shops and restaurants are a ten minute drive to St Francis Bay.

Luxury modern, 10 sleeper house on the canals in a prime location with a private swimming pool, tennis court, cricket net & gym on the property. The house is located on 2 stands with 50m of canal frontage with a boat mooring & Jet ski dock. It has everything required for a fantastic relaxing holiday including free unlimited wi-fi. For loadshedding we have a battery backup system for all the Lights, the Fridge, the Wi-Fi, the Decoders & the lounge TV.

Beautiful House on canals

Our beautiful canal-side home away from home. This family friendly home is an oasis of peace and relaxation on the stunning St Francis Bay canals. Please note we recently renovated and the house no longer has a thatch roof. It’s now a modern shingle roof with aluminum windows and doors. We have updated some photos with the new roof and the white internal ceilings.

We are centrally situated and only a short walk from our beautiful beaches and canals, top class restaurants, shopping centres and golf courses. At Summer Bay Cottage, you can kick back and relax in this calm and stylish space.

It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.
