We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 35 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. Cozy Lockwood house between town and junction. Beautiful in summer, and utterly special next to the wood burner on a winter's evening. Not to mention the heat pump and the front deck spa! Library and DVD collection available for your use for those indoor days. Fenced back garden for kids. Large covered deck for bikes and skis/boards. Towels and bed linen provided. The house is an 80's Lockwood, so has a certain rustic, cabin vibe. If you want ultra modern, probably best look elsewhere..

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. Spa Pool operates from 10am to 10pm Cleaning on departure is included in the rate.
