The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A completely restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

Our home offers separate private guest accommodation in the downstairs of our house, with separate access for guests' convenience. Thames is well situated for travelers exploring the scenic Coromandel Peninsula, the Kauaeranga Valley and other attractions within the area. Easy access to walking tracks and the Hauraki Rail Trail. Beaches are within an easy drive.

We have two buses side by side for group bookings for four or more people. This private wee campsite has all the amenities for friends or family looking for privacy this summer. Beautifully surrounded by nature,the river and sea are right here on your doorstep. Cathedral Cove and Hot Water beach are just over the hill and all the Coromandel activities are within an hours drive. Hereford Cottage

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

The Bach @Tapu - Family & Fisherman's Paradise

Bring the whole family, or pack up the fishing tackle and bring your boat and fishing buddies - this place has it all. Relax on one of the 2 expansive decks, listen to the birds as you enjoy the peace of the surrounding bush-clad hills. Cook up your catch and dine alfresco or enjoy a hearty meal at the local pub just around the corner. A classic kiwi bach in a tranquil setting away from the crazy hustle and bustle. Only a 5 minute walk to Tapu beach for a swim and hit chips from the dairy.

Come relax & unwind & recharge your batteries. We are 1 hour 20 mins from Auckland international Airport. Sorry no late check-out.

Our beautiful 1 bedroom cottage has fabulous modern facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, living-room and bbq area and its only a few steps to the beach. In addition the cottage is within walking distance to the local dairy, parks, boat-ramp and open tennis courts.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.
