Sonka Resort – Mirror House • Lake View

Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Igloo saunas and hot tubs are available to book. A quiet Lapland escape under the northern lights.

Lapland Meditation Room

Quiet, cozy, meditation room for a solo traveller, ideal for 1-2 nights, in a house where we live. Excellent location. Comfortable sofa bed in a warm room. Private, small toilet w bidet, but NO shower. Coffee / tea & a pastry for breakfast. 20min walking distance to the center of town, train and bus stations. (Public swimming pool w sauna & showers 20 min walk from the house/ €8 per visit.) Private entrance to the 2nd floor, overlooking a lake. Coffee maker, toaster, microwave. Free parking.

Perfect for nature lovers, you can enjoy aurora borealis, barbecue shelter, open fire, sauna, and if you dare to follow the tradition, take a dip in the frozen lake ❄️😊 You can reach the cabin via 10km of dirt road, (20km Rvn). Due to irregular road maintenance and unpredictable weather, a 4x4 car is highly recommended. We offer transport service if needed.

📍Enjoy a comfortable stay in your private room in this modern apartment, just a few minutes’ walk from the train station and the city center. Your room includes 1 single bed and 1 small double bed. 📺The apartment features a 65-inch Smart TV (and a smaller with Apple TV in your room). 🎁Kitchen is fully equipped with complimentary porridge and coffee, and a newly renovated shared bathroom with free toiletries. This is a unique possibility to sleep next to the beautiful River view at the Arctic Circle . The cozy and warm Yurt is located 20 minutes from Rovaniemi centrum, and is right next to a big river. Yurt is decorated with beautiful Scandinavian elements and it is warm even the weather is cold outside. This is a place for thinking and relaxing and enjoying pure and simple things. We think this is something everyone should experiment at least once in a lifetime!

Koti teille, jotka haluatte viettää aikaanne mukavasti yhdessä. Langaton wifi, takka, suojaisa piha ja pysäköinti ovat asukkaiden käytössä. -Pihalla voi viettää aikaa: grillata, ehkäpä rakentaa lumiukko, laskea mäkeä tai ihastella joulukuusta ja jos olet onnekas voit nähdä revontulet taivaalta. Vain 5 minuutin kävely keskustan palveluihin, ravintoloihin ja ostoskeskuksiin. Kaapista löydät aamupalaa itsepalveluna: mm. kahvia, teetä, mehua, keksiä.

Beautiful apartment with big windows and a wonderful view of the river and sky incase of northern lights. Very near to the city center, just a short walking distance. Bus stop can be found 100 meters from the apartment. Supermarket and pharmacy close by. Big bed for two, and spare matresses for 2 if needed. There is a big modern kitchen, a sauna and a balcony. High quality stereos and a television.
