Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

It is a totally private annex next to our main farmhouse in the picturesque village of Bampton Grange in the Lake District. Tethera (Cumbrian for 3) is one of 3 brand new apartments in the newly renovated Cumbrian Bank Barn, 'Amma Barn'. This cozy yet spacious bed-sit comfortably sleeps two people and is perfect for a short get away to enjoy the quieter side of the English Lake district, the Westmorland Dales or the Eden Valley. Tethera has a warm and inviting open-plan space with a sofa, wall-mounted TV, King size bed and kitchenette as well as an en-suite with large walk in shower.

Eden Valley hideaway - edge of the Lake District

Accommodation provided in delightful character house in Morland near Penrith. The Eden Valley is a charming unspolit part of Cumbria but only 20 minutes from Ullswater. Private annexe, with separate entrance, small kitchen, sitting room with TV. Downstairs toilet. Private outside patio with table and chairs. Facilities to cook simple meals. Tea, coffee and milk provided. It is important to note the bedroom is en-suite but with access through the main house.

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!

2 Derwent Bield - Explore the Lake District!

Recently refurbished first floor serviced apartment comprising of 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed. Full kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is accessed by a flight of stairs. A baby gate is provided which can be used to limit access to areas of the apartment, but guests with small children should consider this when booking. Situated on the coast to coast route, Shap has many amenities and is a fantastic base to explore the lakes.

Ryebank Cottage

Ryebank Cottage is in the beautiful, rural village of Bampton. It's a 5-minute walk from the River Lowther and offers a wealth of walks from the front door. A 10-minute drive away is Haweswater which is a great place to have a very peaceful hill walk. In the other direction, Pooley Bridge is more populated and offers diversions such as hiring a rowing boat or travelling up the Lake on a steamer.
