The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Zeekoegat Historical Homestead

Take a step back in time and sleep in a historical monument built in 1795 on this exquisite piece of farm property that has been lovingly restored. We practice regenerative farming and encourage biodiversity. This is a place to relax, reconnect and recharge. It is our happy place where we embrace all forms of wildlife and love our menagerie of domestic pets from pigs to turkeys to horses and lots of dogs. Not for you if you don’t like animals, if you do it’s paradise . WiFi in the garden only.

The adjacent nature reserve provides numerous foot-path routes through the indigenous Fynbos. From the balcony you may have some early morning sightings of small antelope and other animals as well as an abundance of bird life.

The Farm Cottage was a charming old farm stall that is converted into a comfortable guest stay. It is a 25minute drive from our coastal town, Stilbay , in the Garden Route. Located just 100m from the N2, it offers easy access by car, though some traffic noise may be heard. Set on a working farm with sheep, fields of canola and wheat (Seasonal), guest can enjoy peaceful farm walks and occasional game viewing. An ideal, convenient stopover for travellers.

Double room with ocean view

A double room with en-suite shower room. There is a wardrobe a tv and WiFi. The bedroom leads on to a lovely enclosed area where there is a dining table and comfortable patio furniture, here you can sit with the doors open or closed and enjoy the wonderful view. There is a fridge and microwave with tea and coffee making facilities. Through these doors there is a large patio area with a bbq and utensils. The views from this room are amazing

Marshall Farm on the river
