Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Our beautifully fitted, spacious yurt with its own wood-fired hot tub is perfect for a romantic rural getaway with a Mongolian twist. Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the yurt is totally secluded and has open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. The Teasel Yurt

You will find The Teasel Yurt tucked into the side of Selsley Common. The large deck looks out over the Severn Vale and Stroud hills - spectacular in all weather and a great spot for sunset. The yurt itself can accommodate a maximum of 5 people with your bedding and towels provided. There is a wood burner to keep the yurt cosy when it is chilly out and the open air kitchen has a canvas roof, a gas burner, firepit/BBQ, sink and cool box. Your bathroom has a hot shower and compost loo.

Come and stay in one of our 2 lovely yurts or bring your friends and hire them both! in a secluded location surrounded by nature and the sound of the river. The yurt is situated on an organic small holding in the beautiful Welsh valleys. You have to cross a foot bridge to get to it. Leave your car on one side of the river and walk to your accommodation. We can also provide fruit and veg as we run an organic market garden in the summer months. Please see below in other details.

Stroud Meadow Yurt with Wild Spa, Cotswolds

Located in the middle of Laurie Lee’s setting for his book Cider with Rosie, this is a rustic camp tucked away at the very top of a 12-acre smallholding with picturesque views across this lovely Cotswolds valley. Situated in a little meadow of its own is the yurt, not overlooked by anyone. Outside is a covered camp kitchen with two-ring gas stove and sink, table and chairs, fire pit and bbq, compost loo, firebath, sauna, outdoor shower and sun loungers. NB Firewood is FREE

This absolutely gorgeous Yurt and Shepherds hut is situated in a beautiful secret valley within Brecon Beacons National Park, between the Blorenge and Gilwern Hills, only 3.5 miles away from Abergavenny. The area is known as "Cordell Country" after the author Alexander Cordell, who has written best selling historical novels about the surrounding area and it's natural beauty combined with its former industrial heritage.
