NEWLY RENOVATED! Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Get the log fire burning, or enjoy a warm hot tub watching the stars. Take a long morning walk with the dog or cycle along the nature reserve that’s through your garden gate, or take the short 20 minute drive to the seaside town of Aberystwyth to enjoy the shops, restaurants and cafes. Shop and pub in the village, and although the hut is set on a working farm, there’s plenty of peace and quiet and privacy at our cozy hut.

Our Shepherds Hut newly built in 2021 sleeps 2 people and nestles nicely into it's own private space just next to the house, which is in a gorgeous rural location in the heart of Snowdonia national park. This hut has electricity, central heating, and hot water making it a cosy and warm place to stay all year round. There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Shepherd’s Hut “Bluebell”

Bluebell is nestled in its own private garden overlooking the sea and stunning Rhinog Mountains. Picturesque hiking trails are on your doorstep with Harlech beach, town and castle a short walk away. The area has plenty on offer; scenic steam railways, the unique village of Portmeirion, sandy beaches, the excitement of Zipworld, numerous castles and Mount Snowdon (to name a few!) are just a car ride away. If you prefer not to venture out, you can now enjoy a game on our brand new pétanque pitch!

Shepherds Hut View

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

The ultimate glamping experience on the foothills of Cader Idris and a stone's throw away from the seaside. This Shepherd's Hut has everything, including private parking, a secure garden, a cosy log fire, a great kitchen, a power shower, super-fast WiFi, and all at an affordable price. Note: We are undertaking major construction work on the property NEXT to the Shepherd's Hut. Builders do NOT work weekends. However, noise levels may be higher during weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Lake Farm Shepherds Hut, Self Catering & hot tub

Our beautiful Black Mountain shepherds hut and undercover hot tub is perched above our wildlife pond, with views over the Welsh hills. It includes double bed, en suite shower room, and for romantic evenings why not light the little hobbit stove. Adjacent to the hut is a charming boathouse, which houses the self catering facilities. Our boathouse opens up to appreciate the views & great outdoors or can be closed up for cosy times by the log burner. Check in is from 4pm Check out is 10.30am

Luxury Hut with Sea, Hot Tub & Mountain View’s

Our new luxurious Shepherds Hut Cwt Y Bryn, Welsh for hut on the hill, hence the panoramic views over Cardigan Bay & the Llyn Peninsula enjoyed from right outside the hut whilst alfresco dining or from your private electric whirlpool hot tub with gazebo. The Hut has king size bed, underfloor heating, a large shower, kitchen with induction hob, microwave oven, large fridge with freezer top. All cooking utensils & cooking pots/pans are provided. Wood for the fire pit & 1 bag of coals for BBQ.

Private parking, logs supplied & the joy of waking up to the smiley faces of Owen and Alun each morning.
