Barn conversion nr Alton Towers/Peak District

My lovely grade II listed stone barn conversion has great views of the Churnet Valley is close to family-friendly activities including Alton Towers and is located on the edge of the Peak District. You’ll love the views. The property is perfect for couples and families (with children) and has electric gates. Soft towels and Egyptian cotton bedding are provided plus a very well equipped kitchen. The barn is set in the grounds of my home and shares my lawn/garden but there is plenty of space.

Dogs welcome. There is a small courtyard only but plenty of walks and fields for exercising your 4-legged friend.

Alton Towers is a 10 minute drive and the polar bear enclosure at Peak Wildlife centre is a 5 minute drive. A perfect location for those wishing to explore the Peak District National Park. Close to Manifold Valley, Thors Cave, Dovedale, Thorpe cloud, Matlock farm park and the Churnet Valley Railway. There is a pub within walking distance.

The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.
