Welcome to Castle Gates, situated in the heart of the historic village of Rhuddlan and opposite the gates of the wonderfully preserved Edwardian Castle. Located just metres from a choice of cafes, traditional village pubs and local artisan shops, Castle Gates is an idyllic cottage stay. Whether you are setting up a base for trips into Snowdonia, the sandy beaches of North Wales, or just want to enjoy the welcoming village, this property has it all including a wood-fired hot tub on the decking.

Self contained guest suite in historic village

Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Characterful Farm Cottage off the beaten track

Tyddyn Morgan is a historic cottage nestling on the edge of the woods in the quiet of the hills. A cosy lounge has a wood burner in the inglenook fireplace for those chilly nights. A well equipped kitchen with dining table. The two bedrooms with a double in the master and bunks in the second makes this a cosy cottage for two or the family. Explore country lanes from the doorstep or we are only a mile from the sea and a welcoming base to explore North Wales from or just stay in and relax.

Idyllic countryside cottage located in the heart of a picturesque conservation village in a tranquil Area of Outstanding National Beauty. Less than 10 minutes drive to stunning beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Nearby attractions, waterfall, historical houses & castles, great pubs, fishing, riding, amazing walks and lots to do with children. If you want to explore further afield Limekiln Cottage is a perfect gateway to discover all North Wales, Chester & Liverpool has to offer.

Secluded hut surrounded by woodland

The Stone Hut is in a very secluded spot surrounded by woods. It has two rooms, one is the bedroom which has a double bed and the other room has an unusual cast iron wood burner with two cooking rings and a kitchen area. There is an outside shower hut and a compost loo which is all for your own private use. There is no electric so you will need to get the fire going to boil the kettle.We provide a coolbox for keeping food cool, and provide ice packs. Please note, only one well behaved dog.

This beautiful newly renovated studio apartment is located in a quaint little village on the North Wales Coast. This space is perfect for two people looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. It is ideally situated at the start of the renound Offa's Dyke walking trail and Dyserth Falls. Ffryth beach and Prestatyn town centre are a short 30min walk or a 10 minute bus ride away. The kitchen and bathroom come fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay.

Beachcomber Seafront Multiple Pet Friendly Cottage is located in a quiet and private spot on a tiny road with a view of sand dunes and the sea less than a 2 minute walk away. With the sound of the waves in the garden, the location provides for a tranquil and rejuvenating trip! Hot Tubs are also available on request at an extra charge of £125 should you wish to enhance your stay. The cottage has 2 double bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room allowing us to sleep 6.

Walking distance to an array of independent shops, pubs & restaurants, an 18 hole golf course, and a 5 minute drive to the A55 Expressway and all that North Wales has to offer.

Yr Atodiad @ Rhwng Y Ddwyffordd

Take a break and unwind at Yr Atodiad - escape to the peace and quiet of the Welsh countryside and enjoy the fresh air, gorgeous walks, and just being in the moment. You will have use of our cosy self contained annexe - with parking, wood burning stove, and basic kitchen facilities. The views of open countryside and our garden (currently a work in progress) are stunning. We have chickens and there are often lambs in our two small fields.

Farm pods

Glamping Pods are set on a family run farm within stunning views of the north wales coast, and surrounded by panoramic views looking out to the sea. Been told by so many that the pictures do NOT do it any justice. There is a petrol station and a shop 1/2 mile down the road, 3 miles from the town of Abergele, which hosts a range of different takeaways and a Tesco’s.
