Relax with the whole family in this serene setting along a native brook trout stream where nature's sounds prevail. Most every room has wonderful views of the Hazel River and the Appalachian Mountains (Shenandoah NP) beyond. The river's clear waters invite fly fishing, and swimming holes abound as do nearby hiking trails in SNP (favorites, Old Rag and Marys Rock). Noted restaurants are nearby as are many vineyards and antique stores. (County code encourages multi-day [weekly/monthly] stays).

Come relax, hike, ride your bike, go wine and craft beer tasting, Copper Fox Distillery, has nice gin and bourbon if you prefer. Visit Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park, or shop at Sperryville gift shops, restaurants, antique markets and art galleries. Old Rag Mountain is only 20 minutes away!

Summer kitchen guesthouse at Caledonia Farm 1812

Summer kitchen guesthouse built of stone in 1812 and located on a 115 acre free-range cattle farm on the National Register of Historic Places. The first floor is a living room with the original cooking fireplace and a kitchenette. Upstairs is a loft bedroom and bath. Housekeeping is provided on Monday and Friday mornings. Bison Farm - Cabin "Vieja"

Bison Farm cabin in a very secluded section toward the back side of a 300 acre working bison farm. This is a tiny home Park Model with 400 sq. ft. The kitchen has a full size stove / oven, a microwave, a full size refrigerator and freezer. Note: bison rotate pastures daily. Please don't expect them near your cabin.
