A rustic, riverfront getaway just downstream from a WVDNR Trout Stock Point, beside the Mountain Rail WV Durbin Station, & 30 miles from Snowshoe. Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

CrossRoads Cottage, established in 2013, is a small cottage with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, tv room/bedroom and kitchen. Guests have the convenience of the entire house. Note: Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the cottage. Note: Price includes up to 4 guests at the cottage. Each additional guest will be $10 extra to accommodate for food, linens, and water useage. Note: There will be a $250 fee for smoking and/or pet violations

Our home is one of 4 current family houses on an active working farm that has been in operation since the late 18th century. The home is rich in history but recent renovations make it quite comfortable. The large patio is perfect for watching the sunset over Jack Mountain or the moon rise over the Bullpasture. Clear nights are great for stargazing.

Come enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking to Mule Hole & take a train ride to High Falls. Drive over the hill to Glady you will find the walking & bike trails of the West Fork Rail Trail. Come disconnect and unwind while taking in the beautiful WV mountains and fresh air. Please note there is NO cell service in the area.

It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more.
