Conveniently located in the heart of Ohakune yet still private with its own garden and maintains a homely feel. Within easy walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, bike rental shops, the Carrot Park, i-SITE and Intercity bus stop. Perfect jump off point to explore both Tongariro National Park and Wanganui National Park, or just winding down after skiing/snowboarding at Turoa, doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, or any of the short walks nearby, or biking the Old Coach Road.

The Treehouse is set in grounds of our Villa in Raetihi in the Ruapehu region, it sits on stilts amongst the trees, with a walk way for ease of access. A warm well insulated room with comfortable king size bed, around the deck to the shower, toilet and out door bath. Enjoy a wonderful relax in the bath with bubbles and a choice of fairy lights or the vastness of a starlit sky. All linen provided. Gas hot water. All water is town supply. There is a cycleway directly outside, easy access to the 'Manawhero River' Walking Track and a 1 minute drive to either the centre of town or the base of Mount Ruapehu. An inviting space, this home has been completely refreshed to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. With high natural wood ceilings and lots of light, this architecturally designed chalet makes the most of the beauty of its natural surroundings. There is space for 7 guests and the location is handy to town and the Turoa ski field road. In cold weather snuggle up with plenty of throws, cushions and a warm fire. No parties allowed. Absolutely no pets allowed.

Tongariro Alpine Villa - with hot tub

This new home is the ideal place to relax after a day skiing, hiking or biking. There are 2 living areas that share a double sided gas fire. Perfect for apres ski or a romantic evening in. Enjoy the sunset from the front deck or the fully fenced outdoor area with BBQ, seating and loungers. Relax and enjoy the view of the mountain from the hot tub. The Mangawhero River and cycle way are a 1 minute walk.

Gazing over the Ruapehu plateau, KUBO is our little house on a hill with the private Fantail Suite — a tranquil haven where time slows, and nature feels close. Enjoy coffee in the lounge at sunrise, watch golden sunsets from the deck, or stargaze under clear mountain skies. Between Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks, it’s close to ski fields, hiking, and biking trails. NO CLEANING FEE.
