The lounge has north facing high angled windows allowing all day sun and provides stunning views of the hills beyond and the gorgeous Central Otago landscape. From the west sliding doors and the built in window seat you have stunning views of the Remarkables. The Queenstown trail is right outside your door so it is a fabulous location for walking and biking. Come and stay and see for yourself!

The Hillary Family A-Frame in Central Queenstown

A super-cute retro A-frame with a historic connection. This is the Hillary family base when in Queenstown. There’s even a picture of Sir Edmund when he first returned from his historic climb of Mt Everest in 1953. Recently refurbished, with a new kitchen and bathroom, it is cute, comfortable and has stunning views from the front balcony, the living area and the master bedroom. Walk to the shops and restaurants in central Queenstown. There’s plenty of parking at the house.

Sunrise is a lovely place to relax and take in the stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. The sleeping options can be arranged to suit: For 2 people you can have either a King Size Bed or 2 Single Beds set up in the main bedroom.
