Black Bear Lodge

We require 24 hours notice when booking. The lodge is 15 minutes from Fredericton city limits in Noonan approximately 2 km in the woods on a private road. It runs on solar and wind power with backup generator. We offer skating, snowshoeing, hiking and boating depending on the weather. Fishing is also offered at an additional cost. There is a stand up shower and sink in the bathroom with hot and cold water as well as a toilet, a propane stove and fridge in the kitchen. Woodstoves for heat.

The Owl’s Nest A-frame

Mangata Mactaquac wants you to leave all your stress behind when you stay at our cabin in the woods. We are located on a beautiful property with streams, waterfall, wood fired hot tub, hiking, biking, and outdoor fire pit with cooking grill and more. Our cabins are situated just steps to the hiking trails of Mactaquac Provincial Park. Just steps from incredible secluded Browns Beach , 2kms to picturesque West Quaco Lighthouse and only 4 to 5 kms to restaurants , shops , the harbor and the famous St. Martins Sea Caves. The House is newly furnished and decorated with modern decor and local artwork. Large kitchen and oversized deck makes this the perfect place for larger groups or families.
