This farm runs sheep & cattle, therefore shearing, lambing, weaning, drenching, draughting, training sheep dogs & horses, are operating throughout the year. Welcome to the Ponderosa B&B

Our farm-style B&B is the perfect place to relax in tranquility. Only 20 minutes from Christchurch City and two minutes to the local town, this guesthouse is the perfect rural experience without being far from where you need to go. Olive Grove Cabin is nestled in an olive grove in the Waipara valley, just 45 minutes north of Christchurch and 8 minutes north of Amberley. A peaceful and tranquil getaway from Christchurch or a stop along your travels around New Zealand. The cabin is located in the heart of the Waipara wine region, on the doorstep of the best of North Canterbury’s wineries, with easy access to Mt Grey, Mt Cass and Tiromoana walkways. The cabin is cosy and welcoming, the perfect retreat.

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. Just $100 for 1 person (except peak season), thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust once booked). Prices intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi inside this building, however, there is from close nearby.

Has microwave small fridge, off street free parking, HEATPUMP warm on a cold day cool on hot days. 30 minutes drive to central Christchurch and airport. Matawai nature park 2 minute walk.
