A very calming place to be. Wake to the morning birdlife from seabirds, tuis, waxeyes and wekas. Walking, cycling, kayaking and horse riding are all possible. Punakaiki (Pancake Rocks), Paparoa National Park, Caving, Denniston plateau, Constant Bay, Truman Track, and Seal Colony are all close.

Okari Cottage

Sunny private retreat with stunning coastal views . Look out to the waves from your bed with a deserted beach at the end of the driveway. Explore the local area beaches, surfing , river, seal colony and the Cape Foulwind walkway all within 2km . Good cell phone reception and wireless internet. Our "cool little" cabin is a very small, detached, cozy, private bedroom looking out towards the rugged Tasman Sea. You will enjoy your own private space, comfortable queen bed, beautiful sunsets, beach access, and the convenience of a 3 min beach walk to Hokitika town centre. Bathroom facilities are detached from cabin and shared with our other cabin guests. Our place is perfect for couples and solo adventurers.
