Please note the smaller bedroom will share a bathroom with the bigger bedroom. Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and unwind in your private garden on a comfortable stoep. The home opens seamlessly into its manicured garden, where a sparkling pool waits to refresh you on warm summer days. De Nagmaalhuijs, Prince Albert

This beautiful home was built in 1880 as a "Nagmaalhuijs" translated house of communion and located directly behind the NG Church. It has been lovingly restored without compromising the traditional Karoo vernacular. The inviting front stoep has benches to enjoy and there is a large impressive great room with traditional high Oregon pine ceilings and floors and a unique kitchenette. The bedroom is beautifully appointed and a separate bathroom offers a Victorian bath, shower and basin.

De Bruijn Huisie - Contemporary Karoo Escape

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in the heart of Prince Albert, De Bruijn Huisie is a restored heritage schoolhouse reimagined as a stylish Karoo escape. Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!
