We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

This charming cottage boasts a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. The cosy sitting room makes for a superb area for everyone to gather around and enjoy time together. Visit Portumna forest park and castle or enjoy a round of golf at the 18-hole course. With Lough Derg so close, enjoy all the water based activities on offer

A little bit of paradise in County Galway, close to the banks of Lough Derg. Very peaceful and tranquil. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. Access to the property is via a driveway across a field. Lough Derg is a five minute walk away. You have a your own self contained apartment. Your own separate entrance, parking area and garden. There are two large double bedrooms a large private bathroom and a kitchenette. Please note, we do not have a shower, but a luxurious bath instead!

The Coach House

A newly renovated coach house in the heart of Portumna Town, close to Lough Derg, the River Shannon and the Forest Park. The accommodation comprises of a kitchen/dining, bedroom/ lounge and bathroom with an outside patio area including BBQ. Access is pedestrian through the front archway leading from the street. With added comfort of underfloor heating, and triple glaze windows, this accommodation is cosy all year round. There is also a shed for storage of outdoor activity equipment.

Ghillies Lair

This is a two-story cottage over 100 years old recently renovated and situated on its own extensive private site. A five minute walk to the town center and the same distance to Lough Derg and the river Shannon. It has onsite parking and outdoor covered facilities for dining. It is ideally located for outdoor activities including swimming, Angling, Boating , Cycling Walking and Golfing. The Forest Park has numerous walking \ cycling trails and a new Blueway is now open.

We are happy to welcome you to stay at our bright comfortable self catering apartment conveniently located in the midlands. Situated 2 min from Exit 23 off the M7 Motorway on the outskirts of the village of Moneygall where the pub and shop are within walking distance. It provides a wonderful base for exploring the heart of the country while also allowing further journeys to some iconic tourist sites.
