Wake up to sights of cranes gliding across the rolling hills that stretch to the ocean. The world beckons outside your window at the Velvet Upperground, the penthouse apartment inside Dunskey Castle. The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

The property is situated within the picturesque village of Portpatrick. There are 2 large bedrooms, upstairs bathroom with separate shower, and downstairs WC. The lounge has TV, Wi Fi & woodburner. There is an enclosed decked garden to the rear. The kitchen has separate fridge & freezer, dish washer & washing machine. There is a large driveway to the side. Portpatrick is situated approximately 6 miles from the main town of Stranraer.

Cosy Groundfloor Flat

The flat has been newly refurbished and offers a quiet, secluded retreat while still being just a stone’s throw from all local amenities. The garden seating provides stunning views overlooking the harbour and across the sea to Ireland. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, take in the scenery and relax. I’ve also provided a little bistro set, at the front of the flat, which gets the sun all day and also has views down to the harbour.

Total peace and quiet in this luxury off grid log cabin. Relax in a wood fired hot tub, toast marshmallows at the fire pit or get cosy around the log burner with a good book.
