Crockets cottage

New extensively renovated beautiful home from home 3 bedroomed house in the beautiful, friendly village of Keills. Approximately 1 mile from PORT ASKAIG ferry terminal where you can also get the ferry to Jura, five minute crossing. Free parking available outside of house, back and front garden with outside seating available, swing park and playing field’s on doorstep. There are 3 Distillery’s nearby Bunnahabhain, Coal Ilà and Ardnahoe with a further six distillery’s throughout the Island.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Tangy Lodge, Relaxing Coastal Home, Amazing View

Tangy Lodge is located right by the coast, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind for the whole family. Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

Gartartan Port Ellen Modern home with sea views

Gartartan provides stylish and contemporary accommodation with stunning sea views towards Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen (within 1 km) and beyond to Kintyre. Distilleries nearby. Gartartan is spacious with efficient underfloor heating and insulation. The open-plan living area has an abundance of light, wooden flooring throughout and a modern wood-burning stove. With four double bedrooms and three bathrooms Gartartan can accommodate six adults comfortably. Enclosed garden/ parking.

Portbahn House, near Bruichladdich Distillery

Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. This modern waterfront house sits right on Islay's scenic coastal route with stunning loch views. Sleeps 8 across 3 ground-floor bedrooms—perfect for families. Large enclosed garden with trampoline and swings. Walk to Bruichladdich Distillery (10 mins), beaches, and coastal paths. Underfloor heating and wood-burner make it cosy year-round. Dogs welcome. Your island home awaits!

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Taigh na Dhot

Ideal for couples or family with 2 children. Very comfortably furnished and well equipped flat. A home from home. Taigh na Dhot is within easy travelling distance to distilleries at the north end of the Island. A 10 minute drive to the ferry terminal at Port Askaig. Craigard cafe is in the village and a short walk away is the award winning whisky bar at Ballygrant Inn which has excellent food reviews also. The main township of Bowmore is a 15 minute drive away.

Persabus Farm Cottage, Port Askaig

Persabus is the gateway to the north Islay distilleries. Persabus Cottage is situated within walking distance of Ardnahoe, Caol ila and Bunnahabhain Distilleries, on a working hill farm. It is close to the bus stop for accessing the South Islay distilleries. With beautiful views of the Sound of Islay and the Paps of Jura. Persabus Cottage was the original farmhouse and has a large farmhouse kitchen, private garden, an open fire as well as oil CH.

Alma Cottage

Well equipped one bedroom converted workshop right next to Lochindaal with open plan living/dining area and kitchen, log burning stove, television and free wifi. Bathroom - wc, sink and with an electric shower. Please note when trying to locate us, maps may take you to a group of houses on the opposite of the road to where our accommodation is. We are located on the sea side of the road.
