Burden Falls Log Cabin

This unique place has a style all its own. You'll think you've just moved into peace and quiet slice of heaven. We've done our best to make this feel a home. Relax next to Lake Macklin with a campfire. We also provide complimentary items for you to enjoy in the cabin. We know how important your pets are and we welcome. Pet rules, vaccines must have proof of and flea and tick prevention must be on the pet,when on property they must be leashed. Any excess hair be vacuumed daily. $50 per pet stay.

Round Pond Lodging - Eagle's Nest

This cabin is just part of our business which is called Round Pond Lodging, where we offer deer and turkey hunts during the season. Another plus to our property is that we are just minutes away from the Shawnee National Forest, Ohio River, Harrah's Casino, and Paducah KY home of the AQS Quilt Show. Every property we have offers a view of the quiet, beautiful, scenery that we call home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Quaint cottage with lake view. Boat ramp and slip on floating dock 150yds away. Located near a privately owned RV park. Desk workspace, supplies & wifi HEPA Air Purifier. Smart TV/DirecTV. Sun porch w/seating. Bar style seating on open porch. Four kayaks with paddles and life vests. Covered concrete parking for one vehicle w/additional gravel parking. BBQ Grill (uses gas or briquettes). Gas Fire Pit. Children MUST be monitored due to water feature and road. No dogs or animals allowed.

New construction Cabin. Relax at this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin in the woods. Surround by the Shawnee National forest, you have miles and miles of trails to hike and explore. If you would rather stay home and relax, there is a fully equipped kitchen, TVs in family room and both bedrooms, shuffle board, covered porch with furniture, a fit pit, and a park style grill. Just a 15 minute drive to Golconda - you are close enough to civilization but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet

We might call this place a hideaway but the nearby activities and amenities are too numerous to list! Enjoy the secluded forest location surrounded by towering trees, abundant wildlife, and plenty of outdoor activities. Our cabin is just minutes away from the Trail of Tears, Dixon Springs State Park, the delicious Chocolate Factory, the towns of Golconda, Metropolis, and the bigger city of Paducah. NEW IN OCTOBER 2021: We have installed high-speed fiber optic WiFi to the cabin.
