Enjoy the Coal River Valley from the little Brick Cottage down the lane, it’s a peaceful and private place to stay and has enough room for the family or a group of friends (if you want to bring them that is 😉) Historic Richmond is only a short walk away, in just moments you could be feeding the ducks, enjoying a latte or walking over Australia’s oldest Bridge.. The Cottage has a beautiful Fireplace for those colder evenings. The Fireplace heats the entire home and make it lovely and cosy.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

The Shoemaker's Cottage has been designed to provide intimate luxury in the heart of Richmond. Built in 1852, this self contained retreat boasts a modern, comfortable interior for a special stay. It is located only a short walk from the historic Richmond Bridge and the many other attractions, cafes and shops in the township. From here you can also access the many Coal River Valley attractions, together with stunning East Coast, Tasman Peninsula and Midland 'Convict Trail' day drives.

A few minutes' stroll from all of Richmond's main attractions is your home in Tasmania. "The Burrow" is a self contained apartment which sleeps 4 adults or 5 people if one is a child. The modern interior with its mezzanine bedroom loft, warm underfloor heating through out and comfy sofa area. A perfect getaway space for two in the heart of the little village with an easy walk to the bridge, prison and cafes. Richmond is 20minutes from Hobart and the airport and surrounded by many wineries

A Cottage in Richmond sits in the historical village of Richmond just outside Hobart. Only a 15 minute drive from Hobart Airport and within 10 km of all Coal Valley vineyards. A converted studio style cottage in the garden of our property. Quiet and so very peaceful overlooking the rosemary and lavender at the entrance to our vegetable garden. You are sure to relax and unwind after a day of touring our Coal Valley wine region.
