There is a bridge and trails that lead down to the river. There is also a gazebo and fire area on site. Airbnb no longer allows hosts to allow parties or large gatherings of more than 16 people.

Hobbit House

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Great weekend river getaway!

Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful camp located on the Tangipahoa River. Enjoy fishing off the dock (some poles and tackle are available) or the view from the top deck. Unfortunately, we do not allow swimming off the dock. Bring your boat and launch at Lee’s Landing (few minutes away) to take your fishing adventure from the dock to the banks! We also have two Roku TVs with 50+ channels and ability to log in to any of your streaming services.

Trace House

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The house is a two minute drive just off i-55 and a three minute drive to downtown Ponchatoula. You can be at the Hammond Square shopping center in appox. 10 minutes and into downtown Hammond or SLU in less than 15 minutes. It's a nice cozy place to stay to reach many venues in the area. This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.
