Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. Less than .25 miles down the road you will find an access point to enjoy the peaceful Ouachita river or drive a short 30 minutes to Wolf Pen Gap to ride ATVs or find Irons Fork Lake 6 miles away to take in nature and fish.

ALL TRAILS LEAD TO HERE! Stay in this updated 2-bedroom (second bedroom is open) cabin in Mena, Arkansas, in the heart of WOLF PEN GAP. Explore waterfalls, swimming holes, beautiful creeks, and hundreds of miles of backroads for hiking, biking, or ATV trails. The WOLF PEN GAP trailhead is less that 1/2 mile away, ride directly to trails from the cabin, no trailering needed. Unwind in the hot tube, gather around the firepit, or cook the BBQ pit. Scenic day trips and local shopping await!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Whitetail Cabin is our 3rd & newest cabin here at Rocky Ridge Cabins. It has been handcrafted & lies at the foothills of the Ouachita’s. Of our three cabins this cabin has the most spectacular view as it rises above the other two. It also is fully furnished & comes with a charcoal grill & a firepit for outdoor pleasures. Nature has blessed our area with an abundance of things to do & we are located in the center of it all.

Hillside Hideaway-Unique 2 BR Spacious Cottage!

Escape to a one-of-a kind countryside retreat-an artfully repurposed ostrich barn set on 40 private acres of peaceful, natural beauty. Spend your days exploring & hiking nearby trails or venturing out to mountains and crystal-clear streams or fishing in the private large, stocked pond with a pedal boat for fun. There is also a firepit with firewood included for evening relaxation and good conversation. Back at the barn, unwind in your own saltwater hot tub under the stars.

Whispering Pines - Cabin by Shady Trails!

Enjoy this private retreat consisting of a brand-new cabin, sleeping 8 guests total. Cabin has vaulted ceilings, an open living/kitchen/dining area, and a private king bedroom with full bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with two queen beds along with two military grade cots with bedding and private half bath. Large deck with dining area, grilling space, heater. Fire pit areas plus setup for horseshoes. The south trail head is 3/10ths of a mile from the cabins!

This tiny cabin in the woods is the closest Airbnb to Queen Wilhelmina State Park’s hiking/biking trails, sunset views, and restaurant. Private setting, surrounded by trees, and less than 2 miles from the Ouachita Trail, Black Fork Mtn Trail, & Talimina Scenic Drive. Has wi-fi, smart TV, covered deck, & heat/air. Queen bed & full size sofa sleeper. Full kitchen with coffee pot, Keurig. Check in any time with lock box code. 15-20 minutes to Mena. Hosted by local teachers.

The Cottage at Acorn

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.

Nichols Mountain ATV Hideaway

This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house sits in the heart of the Ouachita National Forest just minutes from the Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails. You can ride straight to the trails from the driveway! It’s close to great hiking trails, swimming holes, and there’s plenty of space on the property to play cornhole and horseshoes. The deck has seating to enjoy the peace and quiet while watching for wildlife. This property is a perfect getaway place!

Heart Shaped Tub for Two at Raspberry Retreat

Get away to a romantic cabin hidden deep in the Oachita Mountains! The cabin is located within a few yards of the national forest boundary. Relax on the covered front porch and look at the stars on a clear night. Or, hear the rain on the roof while soaking in the heart shaped hot tub on a stormy night! Either way, you will find a peaceful stay here! From the town of Mena, AR it is about a 15 minute drive to the property.
