The owners wanted a family space to share with guests, and have a mix of modern , retro & vintage with panoramic views over the ocean stretching as far as Rame Head ,Looe, Seaton & Downderry. Close to HMS Raleigh &Polhawn Fort. There are 120 steps down to the chalet.

The cottage boasts a log burner and sunset facing balcony with fantastic views of the sea and the City of Plymouth. The interior is quirky and cosy, with lots of unique features such as a vaulted bedroom ceiling. The cottage is petite, set over 3 floors and built in the 18th century. The location is 10-15 mins by car from Plymouth city centre, location of Plymouth University, also 5-10 mins from Derriford Hospital and Marjons uni. Local shop nearby and bus route. Good base.

The cottage is grade 2 listed with flagstone floors and an inglenook fireplace and has been tastefully renovated throughout. It is situated in the village of Turnchapel where there are lovely coastal walks to explore as well as 2 good pubs and a waterside cafe also the perfect spot for the dive school. It is only a 10 minute walk to the water taxi to Plymouth’s historic Barbican and Plymouth Hoe The property has its own fenced in garden and parking place.
