Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families , and pets (2 maximum) No large groups. No parties.
