Big Oak River Retreat

Unwind at our cabin in the woods! Located only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy great fishing and gorgeous views with private riverfront access or retreat to the electric barrel sauna. Cabin also includes a screened in front porch with a fire table and plenty of space to gather. Enjoy the modern kitchen, full bath, 2 bedrooms, and a cozy living space with fireplace. ***Located next door to our Little Oak Cabin also available to rent (each w/ private sauna, fire pit and river access)***

About halfway between Duluth and Minneapolis, 7 miles west of I-35. Please inquire if you have a slightly larger group, we may be able to accommodate! An additional fee of $30/guest per night over 6 applies. Please note that per county regulations, only registered guests are allowed on the property. Other fun places & activities nearby: Osprey Wilds, Kettle River, Banning State Park, Grand Casino, Munger Trail (biking and snowmobiling). Lots of space for your boat &/or snowmobile trailer!

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Secluded Lake, Game Room, Sauna, Pontoon

Secluded Northwoods lake cabin on 4 acres near Hinckley. BREATHTAKING views. Excellent swimming & fishing. Amazing cedar sauna (added charge). Seasonal outdoor shower. Large deck, firepit, grills, & fireplace (Oct-May). Hiking, skiing, ATV trails, casinos, and St Croix River nearby. Game room w/pool table, foosball, poker table, ping pong, air hockey, & more. Relax, fish, stargaze & enjoy nature at Sturgeon Island A-frame. It sits on 1.5 acres of land and 400ft of shoreline, creating a peaceful & secluded getaway location in Minnesota. It is only 90 min north of Minneapolis and 50 min south of Duluth located on Sturgeon Island on Sturgeon Lake. Fish right from the dock, Kayak & paddle board, or bring your own boat! Grab a cup of coffee and watch the loons right from the deck, unwind & simply enjoy being in nature at Sturgeon Island A-frame!

The whole group will be comfy in this spacious and unique spot in the pines. The overhead door is the only “garage” thing about it! There are plenty of activities in the area, or stay right on our nearly 15 acres of forested land to relax and walk or ride our trails through the trees. We’ve added a screen for the garage door opening. Now you can roll up the garage door to feel like you’re outside! The screen cords have been damaged so it will no longer retract, but works great down!

Riverside Retreat- A small cabin for big memories!

Renovated cabin nestled high in the pines overlooking the river. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space where the river views will take your breath away. We have a great selection of games, books and movies to snuggle up with in front of our warm fireplace. Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!

This bright and cozy 3 bed/2 bath home is a relaxing getaway just 70 miles north of the twin cities. Our cabin is set on a beautiful, pine filled peninsula offering amazing views of Cross Lake from the oversized deck or any window in the house! Whether you're interested in a relaxing get-away with the family, fishing Cross Lake (in summer or winter), hitting the casino (just a short 10 minute drive) or enjoying the nearby snowmobiling trails this cabin is a perfect fit.
