Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin on Lake Pokegama in Pine City--about one hour north of the Twin Cities, Minneapolis & St. Paul. Lake Pokegama is ready for swimming, canoeing, fishing & boating on its 3,000 acres. There is also access to Cross Lake via the Snake River which is just a short jaunt away and across from the public launch. Bring your boat, or rent our pontoon! We also have a new Hot Huis which has a 3 person Finnleo Infrared Sauna. Perfect for those winter days!!

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Enjoy the views of Lake Pokegama from the living room or one of our two decks. Play yard games down by the lake or relax on the beach. Enjoy 2,000 acres of water to boat and fish on. Walk to , Lake Appeil, or create your meals in our fully equipped kitchen. End your days around a private fire pit. All three of the bedrooms have a queen sized bed You will find your choice of yard games in the little garden shed. You can also enjoy long walks right outside the cabin along Linden Tree Road.

This is NOT a house for parties. NOTE: Lake Pokegama is fed by the Snake River. It can turn green in late summer along the shore.

Entire cottage to yourself with a magnificent lake view. We have 315 feet of lakeshore located on 4 acres on Island Lake. We have a private dock. Our 900 square ft cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and a couch that opens up into a bed. A fire pit is available, ( wood furnished), along with a canoe and 2 kayaks You can fish off the dock or bring your own boat. A pontoon boat is available for rent. We will except two dogs.
