La casa, ristrutturata pochi anni fa, è una tipica struttura che mantiene le caratteristiche dei casolari toscani. È l’ultima di un gruppo di case sul poggio più alto del paese di Pieve di Compito con alle spalle uno splendido oliveto. Ha un giardino curato, con piante caratteristiche della zona, in particolare le antiche camelie della lucchesia. Il giardino finisce in un declivio a balze erbose coltivate a frutti.
