Stanley Chapel

In a tranquil country setting near the river Marden. Ideal location to visit the market town of Chippenham and 13 miles from the City of Bath. Medieval villages of Lacock, Castle Combe, and Avebury are nearby. Sustrans national cycle track is in walking distance with great routes for walkers, runners and cyclists. Bowood House and Gardens are 1 mile away. The Chapel has one bedroom and the lounge is upstairs which has a pull out double sofa bed . Stunning sunsets and views over fields.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

The Flat at Axfords Patch offers modern and self contained accommodation. It is 13 minutes walk to the National Trust village of Lacock. The property is next door to the well known Whitehall Garden Centre, famous for its Christmas displays. There are two cafes available at Whitehall and there are a further 3 pubs with dining in Lacock. Plenty to explore nearby whether on foot with one of the many local walking routes or by car (e.g. Bath, Longleat, Castle Combe).

My Garden Annex has a real “Home From Home” feeling. A lovely garden to sit in when the weather permits and it starts bursting into colour from mid April. Easy access with a bus stop just down the road. Lots of sight seeing by car to various National Trust properties. Cotswolds and Bath within easy distance. Stonehenge and Lacock are a must. Fuchsia Barn is a brand new purpose built Airbnb unit, finished to a very high standard, with lots of natural materials giving it a relaxing and cosy atmosphere. It is situated 12 minutes walk from the beautiful village of Castle Combe, often voted the prettiest in the country, and featured in many films. The annexe is a recently renovated self-contained 1-bedroom apartment in a town centre location, ideally situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac and includes an allocated parking space. The property is completely separate from the main house with a private entrance and outside space available on the sun terrace in our private garden.
