Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

The Bunkhouse at Top Hat Equestrian

Relax in this newly refurbished “Bunkhouse” located on a six acre horse farm. Walk the property, pet the horses or simply relax in this cozy retreat - hot tub included! An EV Type 2 charger is available. Guests can come as they are or bring their horse(s) and rent a pasture or stall for an additional fee. Owner lives on site in a separate building. We are <15 min from Downtown Fairhope, Mobile Bay and a variety of restaurants, including The Grand Hotel. Just 40 min from Gulf Shores beaches!

The Cottage at Steve’s Farm

The Cottage has everything you need to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Take a stroll down a country lane, around the ponds. Watch the farm activities, or just relax under a tree and watch the sun go down on Steve's Farm and Market in peaceful Walnut Hill! This family friendly spot is sure to please your entire crew! Step out the back door and across the yard to Steve's country market for many food and snack items and local craft and gift ideas. The kids can fish, and mom can shop!

Storybook Castle BnB

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

The Farmhouse at Riverbend

Come, stay and enjoy our farmhouse at Riverbend. Located in the center of several hundred acres of longleaf pines and mixed hardwoods, sloping down to the banks of the Perdido River. Some of our favorite activities include hiking and biking on a labyrinth of well-marked roads and trails, sporting clays, excellent birding opportunities and kayaking or canoeing on the pristine Perdido River. The remote natural setting on our stretch of the river offers our most valuable asset, PRIVACY.

This newly renovated 2 bdrm 1 bath cottage is on Tensaw Island. The island is a private gated community. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax on the screened in porch or large platform deck. This is the perfect place if you love to kayak, fish or just want to spend the day on the Tensaw river or hangout on Gravine Island. With just being an hour drive from Gulf Shores/Orange Beach there are endless possibilities for recreation, food, and entertainment.

Enjoy nature in this 2 bedroom stilt house on Paradise Island surrounded by the Blackwater River- just a 30 minute drive to Gulf Beaches! Kayak around the island, enjoying the turtles & birdwatching, or boat or drive to downtown Milton to dock and dine at Blackwater Bistro or Boomerang Pizza. There is a boat ramp, boat house, 4 kayaks and life jackets for guest use. Easily visit Navarre Beach, vibrant Downtown Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, or Ponce de Leon Springs.

We are a little more than an hour from Pensacola Beach, Fl. which boasts historical Fort Pickens and 75 miles from Gulf Shores, AL. Wind Creek Casino just 20 minutes away.
