Located on an acre and a half, the grounds are landscaped in native plants and towering pines and oaks. A primary feature of the house is its wraparound screen porch where guests can gather for meals and to listen to the birds. Built of barge board, the cottage has been renovated with modern amenities but maintains its historic character and charm.

New Orleans just 40 minutes to the west, and Biloxi beaches 45 minutes and casinos to the east. We're centrally-located to have a different experience every day! If your coming into town to watch an NFL game at Caesars Superdome you can drive, or take the Amtrack train.

This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

If hunting or fishing is not your thing, you can come enjoy the great outdoors or hang out by the fire pit.
