Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

The Barrett Cabin

Welcome to our cozy retreat located steps away from the shores of Lake Barrett. This charming cabin offers 3 bedrooms / 1 bathroom a perfect blend of comfort and rural beauty. Our property provides an open floor plan, kitchen, washer & dryer. Embrace the great outdoors with a variety of activities to enjoy; bird watching, fishing, roasting marshmallows by the fire or snowmobiling in the winter. Relax at this 3000 square foot well appointed lake home situated on one of Alexandria's best lakes, Lake Ida with the lake's North public access nearby. This home features a large flat yard and a sandy beach for outdoor fun on 100 ft of beautiful lakeshore. Be ready to enjoy the lake all day! Overnight guests are limited to 12 adults. Douglas county allows double that number during the day for your outdoor summer activities, but twelve guests age 6 and older is the max for overnight guests!

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Lake Cabin Retreat | Hot tub

Hello! We're a small town local MN family hoping to share our Maple Hideaway with others to make memories in. Nestled in acres of woods by a peaceful lake, this cabin contains plenty of amenities to have special moments with your family. Whether it be enjoying a game of cornhole while grilling a steak, taking the kayak out for fishing, or staying indoors next to the fire place! PLEASE BE AWARE, there is a cabin directly next to this one on the north side, that we share a driveway with.

Crane Lake Cabin

Year Round Cabin. PONTOON AVAILABLE TO RENT FOR SUMMER 2026. Cabin sits 30 feet from clear water! Fish from dock or kayak provided. Rustic style cabin with all amenities! Clitherall Lake public access is 700 feet away for boat or jet ski launching. Also available: paddle board, pedal boat, some floaties, 3 fishing poles. Year round cabin open for winter stays also. Just 1 mile from the snowmobile trail. Ice fish on Crane Lake with a portable fish house or drive onto Clitheral Lake.

Relax and enjoy the beautiful view on Marion Lake. This cabin, nestled in the western shore, is the perfect getaway for anyone looking for peace and quiet, gorgeous sunrises, and fun on the lake. Guests enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, propane grill, fire pit, kayaks, a dock, and swim beach. If guests decide to go out, the Perham area offers a variety of attractions including shopping, hiking, golfing, and dining. Come unwind, life is good on the lake! (Available year round.)

The Haven

The Haven is a perfect getaway for the whole crew! Located in the lakes area in-between Vergas and Frazee (about 10 minutes from Perham) this newly renovated gem has an open space downstairs and upstairs. Spacious bathroom, big gather room, open bedroom concept, and laundry room. Winter time favorites in the area include snowmobiling, skiing & snowboarding, ice skating, ice fishing, cross country skiing, and bingo nights at Billy's Bar in local town of Vergas.

Lake Ida Hideaway, near Carlos Creek Winery

Come relax in a house on a hill, with a dock on a lake, and hide away... (Thanks, Brett Eldridge, for the perfect lyrics to describe our hideaway lake house!) Enjoy gorgeous sunsets overlooking pristine lake Ida, while listening to the loons sing. Lake Ida has crystal clear water with visibility exceeding 16 feet.
