Step into Jinks Cottage and I hope you step into a real ‘home from home’. A cosy cottage with a fabulous & foodie local pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort in this well-equipped, warm, welcoming cottage. Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

From the bedroom skylight you can look directly up at the stars within a dark sky reserve. The property has an outside seating area and is ideally situated for access to popular mountain bikes routes. It has door step access to numerous scenic walks for both the seasoned walkers or those who enjoy more gentle strolls.

Black Mountains Hideaway

PERFECT FOR LOVERS OF NATURE AND RUGGED WALKS. 850 feet up in the Black Mountains, the Hideaway is tucked behind yet private from our 300 year old family farmhouse. Once you have spent the day walking, biking or riding you can light a fire in the woodburner and curl up with a book or ease into the freestanding bath in your bedroom. Cosy recently renovated duplex suite with private entrance at the rear of historic house with sitting room, bedroom above, loo & shower room. NO KITCHEN but there is a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle & Nespresso machine. In 20 acres of grounds with stunning views. Crickhowell High Street is 10 minutes walk . Direct access to footpaths to the River Usk from the property & mountain walks to Table Mountain and beyond just across the road. Secure parking & bike storage.

Treveddw Farm Cabin

Welcome to Treveddw Farm Cabin. The Cabin can sleep 4, (one sleeping on a single airbed, bedding provided, must be requested by guest). I would suggest it is too small a space for 4 adults, but your choice entirely. The farm is a perfect base for walking and touring from. There is a small secure garden. Dogs are most welcome (2 small or 1 large, 1 small). Please don’t leave your dogs unattended in the cabin at anytime. No smoking on the farm, or in the cabin. Thanks

Oak Cottage, Llanthony.

The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a very peaceful farm location overlooking the Llanthony Valley, 10 miles from Abergavenny. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.

Stylish Hideaway in the Black Mountains

Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

Dan y Berllan is one of two cottages on a working hill farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it means "under the orchard" The cottages are self catering but should you not wish to cook, to the top of our drive is The Crown Inn , a lovely village pub serving amazing food. The market town Abergavenny is all but a stone's throw away by car. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing walks ,the cottage is perfected located to take a stroll or a long trek .
