Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . We have created modern accommodation but kept the character of the barn with its original oak beams and stone. Centrally based for guests to visit the many medieval towns, markets, walks and attractions within the region.

Wake up to peace and quiet then take a stroll to the boulangerie for breakfast ,then perhaps later dine at one of the many friendly restaurants, cafes or bars. You will be delighted by the beautiful castle and stunning landscaped grounds that surround it .The area is very picturesque and full of charm and character. It's a great place to discover the real France and its culture.

Mini gîte "Le petit fournil" en Normandie

Notre ancien fournil est une partie de notre corps de ferme. Au rez - de - chaussée, il est pourvu d'une cuisine équipée et d'une salle de douche avec toilettes. A l'étage, une chambre mansardée dispose de 3 lits indépendants. A l'extérieur, nos hôtes ont accès à une terrasse privée avec du mobilier de jardin. La wifi est gratuite. Un petit déjeuner (pain paysan, confiture) est proposé sur demande pour 5 euros par personne. Proche de la voie verte, les promeneurs apprécieront cette halte.

However, please be aware that the site is not connected to water and electricity networks, so you will need to be mindful of your energy consumption during your stay.
