Public transport is infrequent, a car is preferable. Palmela Castle is close-by, as is the Arrábida Natural Park. Beaches, Setúbal, Lisbon and the airport are within easy reach.

Loft do Choco is a unique eco-friendly house in the very heart of the historical center of Setúbal. The loft is located in the typical fisherman's neighborhood of Fonte Nova. The house is made out of sustainable materials with its cork floor, wooden walls, traditional ceramics (Azulejo), and a relaxing indoor fishermen hammock.
