Peaceful and very relaxed neighbours, that offer options for outdoor sports. 5 min walk on a lovely street leads to the sea : white dune, pedestrian roads and hiking trails. 5 min walk in the other direction leads to Rimi and Top grocery stores and the train station. 10 min walk to the local market every Friday.

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). Stay is set in the heart of Gaujas National Park, surrounded by its forests and rivers just a few kilometres away. We are in a friendly and quiet suburb Livi, exactly 4.5km from the city Cesis and 3.5km from the longest ski slopes in Latvia (Ozolkalns & Zagarkalns).

A tiny cabin surrounded by forest, located approximately 44 km away from the border of Riga city. Cuckoo the cabin sits next to a pond, where you can have a swim right away, but if you want to enjoy the seaside - it’s 2 km from the cabin - have a 25 minute walk (recommended) or take the car if feeling lazy. This is your perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!
