Welcome to our peaceful first-floor apartment, recently converted for quiet luxury with iconic mid-century design pieces, antique finds, and contemporary artwork from your professional artist hosts. Accessible via a wide spiral staircase, this private retreat features a spacious and comfortable sitting room with light-filled double-aspect sash windows, a balcony with idyllic paddock views, a mini-kitchen and a large separate bedroom. Perfect for couples, business travelers, sorry, no infants.

Our apartment is close to Oxford city centre, the Thames River, art and culture. Groceries, superb bakery, coffee shops and restaurants are a few minutes walk away. It is ideal for couples, business travellers, and families. The reason for a gap in reviews on our apartment since 2022: The apartment was rented by a lovely young couple long-term for 2 years since March 2022. They have now gone travelling in Australia(we are super jealous!). We have decided to short-let on Airbnb once again.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Nestled alongside the meandering river Thames in the south Oxfordshire countryside you’ll find Dorchester. Steeped in history, once a bustling Roman town and a prominent route for pilgrims. We are situated right on the edge of the village; no where near busy roads so it’s blissfully quiet - just the sheep in the field and the church bells. We have some lovely pubs and a great farm shop selling local produce. And Oxford is only 15 mins away!

The Garden Room

Large (30 sqm) self contained quiet room on ground floor rear of well appointed house with king-size bed, shower / toilet, kitchen and garden. Close to shops, frequent bus services into central Oxford, and a few minutes walk from river Thames / Isis and parks. Popular pubs, cafes and restaurants are on nearby Magdalen Road. The Garden Room is reached by side entrance with coded gate and motion activated lights. Parking on driveway or street. Garden awaits further tidying. See photos.

The heart of Oxford is fifteen minutes on public transport or it's a 35 minute walk down the wide, tree-lined streets, you can even walk down the picturesque canal.

Well - connected to both Oxford and Oxford Parkway stations. Parking is available on the forecourt of our house. Please let us know if you require parking before you arrive.
