Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. Tucked away in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the waterfront Salmon River Wilderness Camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. Rejuvenate with a swim, go paddling in a canoe at your doorstep, and hike in the rolling landscape of forests, granite and clean water. This is a romantic getaway for two on the banks of the Tay, 10 minutes West of Perth, Ontario. Secluded and quiet with private swimming access to the river where it slows and flows over a large flat rock bed. Fully solar, this 20 foot diameter yurt has a queen bed, 3 piece bathroom, propane “wood” stove, T.V. and Starlink wifi access and fully stocked kitchen with coffee and tea service with a Keurig or bodom.
